**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Chef Manager to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. As a Relief Chef Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our business across the South West M4 Corridor region and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Cover Head Chef/Chef Manager Holiday and Sickness**: Provide cover for Head Chef/Chef Manager absences, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • **Support with Mobilisations**: Assist with the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring a smooth transition for our clients.
  • **Support with Troubleshooting**: Provide additional support to locations requiring assistance, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • **Cover a Vacancy**: Fill in for vacant Head Chef/Chef Manager positions, ensuring continuity of service.
  • **Produce Food for Service**: Prepare and cook fresh food to order, adhering to our company's brand standards.
  • **Create Bespoke Seasonal Menus**: Design and implement seasonal menus using regional and local suppliers, showcasing your creativity and skillset.
  • **Complete Food Costings**: Accurately complete food costings as required, ensuring financial transparency.
  • **Complete Company Bookwork**: Maintain accurate records and complete company bookwork, adhering to our financial standards.
  • **Ensure Company Food Standards**: Maintain high standards of food quality, ensuring compliance with our company's policies and procedures.
  • **Ensure Food Hygiene and Health & Safety**: Adhere to all food hygiene and health & safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • **Organised Relief Chef Manager**: Demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring accurate records and timely completion of tasks.
  • **Sound Financial Understanding**: Possess a good understanding of financial principles, ensuring accurate costings and financial management.
  • **Knowledge/Competencies**: Hold a recognised cooking qualification, such as City & Guild 706/1 & 2 or equivalent, and a level 3 food hygiene qualification.
