Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Support Teaching Assistant to join our team at Philosophy Education. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with ASC, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist in creating a safe and supportive learning environment, adapting to the needs of each pupil.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and carers to ensure seamless support and progress.
  • Participate in assessments, reporting, and EHCP reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.

Requirements

  • Experience working with pupils with ASC or other special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
