About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team at Bright Horizons Surbiton Ewell Road Day Nursery and Preschool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop engaging learning opportunities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, happy, and stimulating environment that promotes child development and well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers through effective communication and regular updates.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, and promote a culture of child protection and welfare.

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
  • Previous experience working in the Early Years sector, with a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
