Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and safety of our young campers, while delivering engaging and structured sports, art, and play activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Delivery: Prepare and deliver activities for our Ultimate Activity Juniors, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
  • Pastoral Care: Take a lead in maintaining the welfare and providing high-quality care for our 4 and 5-year-old campers.
  • Group Leadership: Supervise and engage with the children outside of activity times, welcoming new children into your group and liaising with the EY Leader and/or parents as necessary.
  • Adaptability: Recognize that you may work with children from differing backgrounds and stages of development, therefore adapting activities to meet the individual needs of the children in your group.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the EY Leader and other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all campers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children aged 4-5 in a sport, art, or education setting.
  • Qualifications: Confident instructor, able to adjust delivery and structure according to age and ability. Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Personality: Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with and developing children through play and activity. Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
