Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team at Bright Horizons Surbiton Ewell Road Day Nursery and Preschool. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes children's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a consistent approach to childcare and education.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in Early Years education.

Requirements:

  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
  • Previous experience working in the Early Years sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of our children and families.
