Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Community Mental Health provides specialist mental health care to clients and their families in the West Kimberley Communities. This role involves advanced mental health nursing assessments and interventions during triage of new referrals and care coordination of active clients of the Kimberley Mental Health and Drug Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide recovery-focused and trauma-informed mental health care to clients and their families
- Conduct advanced mental health nursing assessments and interventions
- Care coordinate active clients of the Kimberley Mental Health and Drug Service
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for this position. WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility, and applicants must undergo criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
