Registered Care Manager

Cambian West is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our children's residential homes across the UK. As a Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in making a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person, including their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
- Foster consultation with young people to ensure their voices are heard and their care is tailored to their individual needs.
- Assign a Key Worker to each young person to implement their care plan and provide ongoing support.
- Establish and monitor high-quality care standards in line with the quality standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
- Take responsibility for addressing any complaints or child protection concerns, working in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
- Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings as appropriate, ensuring the children in your service are cared for at the best possible standard.
- At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
- Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
