Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children's home in Longsight, Manchester. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our service users, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage the home's budget and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the home's leadership team to discuss progress and plan for the future.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care is essential, with a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Quality Standards and regulatory requirements for children's homes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
