About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Talent Fox Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to young people in our care, while also ensuring the smooth operation of our children's home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the children's home team, ensuring that all staff are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to young people.
- Care Planning and Review: Develop and implement individual care plans for each young person, ensuring that their needs are met and their progress is regularly reviewed.
- Staff Management and Development: Recruit, train, and develop a team of staff who are committed to providing exceptional care and support to young people.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure that our standards are met and exceeded.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that the children's home operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including the National Minimum Standards for Residential Care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Financial Management: Manage the children's home budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of young people.
- Reporting and Administration: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Registered Manager qualification (or equivalent) and a relevant degree in a field such as social work, psychology, or education.
