Key Responsibilities- Lead the assessment of quality requirements for marketing authorisations of biological veterinary medicinal products.
- Manage and develop a team of assessors to ensure the quality and consistency of assessments.
- Develop and implement national and international regulatory policies and guidelines for veterinary medicines.
- Provide scientific and regulatory advice to applicants and stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of animal health and welfare, ensuring the availability of innovative biological veterinary medicinal products to protect animal health and welfare.
You will be responsible for leading a team of experts in the assessment of quality aspects of biological veterinary medicinal products, including vaccines. Your work will significantly contribute to the Veterinary Medicines Directorate's objective of ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK.
