We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Apprentice Instructor to join our team at Tata Steel. As a Mechanical Apprentice Instructor, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of talent in the steel industry.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to apprentices in mechanical workshop skills. You will design and deliver training materials, assess learner progress, and provide feedback to ensure that learners meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training materials to meet the needs of learners
- Assess learner progress and provide feedback to ensure that learners meet the required standards
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that training approaches are efficient and effective
- Provide support and guidance to learners to ensure a positive learning experience
- Maintain knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environment standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of machine workshop experience (lathe/miller)
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship
- Previous experience operating and training individuals on mechanical workshop machines
- Educated to HNC/HND level
- Plant knowledge
- A good understanding of the education system
