We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Apprentice Instructor to join our team at Tata Steel. As a Mechanical Apprentice Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our apprentices, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs for mechanical apprentices, including theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Assess and evaluate the performance of apprentices, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Work closely with the Apprentice Training team to ensure training programs meet business needs and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry legislation, best practices, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure training approaches are efficient and effective.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of machine workshop experience (lathe/miller).
  • Completion of a time-served apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience operating and training individuals on mechanical workshop machines.
  • Educated to HNC/HND level.
  • Plant knowledge.
  • A good understanding of the education system.
