Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice

RPS Group is looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice to join our Renewable Energy Infrastructure division.

The selected individual will engage in a 4-day work week with RPS, dedicating 1 day weekly to academic studies at their university. Key responsibilities encompass assisting in the execution of civil infrastructure design packages for renewable energy initiatives, including onshore wind and terrestrial projects related to offshore wind. This position may also entail designing access for on-site operations, planning watercourse crossings, and implementing sustainable drainage solutions. A keen interest in broadening multidisciplinary expertise is advantageous and will facilitate support across environmental, geotechnical, and structural domains.

Required Qualifications:

  • SQA Highers at BBBB or ABBBB (Mathematics preferred but not mandatory)
  • A-Levels at ABC or BBB
  • Scottish Baccalaureate Pass
  • International Baccalaureate with 29 points
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering alongside SQA Highers at AAB (Mathematics preferred but not mandatory)
  • A combination of qualifications totaling 96 SCQF credits at level 6 or a minimum of 126 UCAS points
