Job Title: Apprentice Civil Engineer

Strata Construction Consulting is seeking a talented and ambitious Apprentice Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering sustainable development infrastructure solutions to a diverse range of clients across Scotland.

About the Role:
  • Undertake feasibility and pre-planning assessments of engineering infrastructure to ensure compliance with design standards and industry best practice.
  • Peer review documents, designs, and drawings to maintain consistent high quality and adherence to client expectations.
  • Attend design meetings, site meetings, and conduct site inspections to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior colleagues, and assist in mentoring and development of others.
  • Report technical issues associated with project work to the appropriate team leader.
  • Produce CAD and 3D modelling in conjunction with other Project Engineers/Technicians, and ensure outputs meet company CAD standards and project protocols.

Requirements:
  • BSc, BEng, or MEng Degree in Civil Engineering, or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering with 8 years of experience.
  • 5 years of post-graduate experience in a related field.
