About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pupil and Pastoral Manager to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining an overview of behaviour, safeguarding, and pupil welfare, and developing appropriate interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact in investigating and resolving any pastoral issues, in line with our school's focus on character education.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students and families, working closely with external agencies as needed.
- Liaise sensitively with parents, carers, teachers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Provide a caring and compassionate approach to student support, being resilient and calm under pressure.
