We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced specialist to join our clinical team in the Addiction and Recovery Service. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will participate in all aspects of patient care, including multidisciplinary meetings, and provide consultant leadership and expertise.

About the Service

The Addiction and Recovery Service is a multidisciplinary team that provides treatment and care services for individuals with addiction and substance use disorders. We offer a range of services, including community-based teams, specialist day and inpatient care, and liaison provision for general psychiatry and a wider Recovery Orientated System of Care.

Our service is responsible for delivering addiction treatment and care services to over 12,000 clients, and we are committed to providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist in our Addiction and Recovery Service, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in research projects and teaching initiatives, and contribute to the development of our recovery-oriented system of care.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have full registration with the GMC, MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent, and a CCST. You must also be eligible for approval under the Scottish Mental Health Act as an AMP.
