We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Dietitian to join our team at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The successful candidate will work closely with the Mental Health Multidisciplinary team to assess, develop and review complex nutritional care plans for patients with mental health conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, HCPC registration and a driver's license. They will have experience in delivering highly specialized clinical care to vulnerable patients, including those with eating disorders, schizophrenia, bi-polar, addictions and anxiety disorders.

The post holder will have the opportunity to join specialist CE groups and work with the wider network of mental health and community Dietitians within our service, contributing to service improvement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop and review complex nutritional care plans for patients with mental health conditions
  • Deliver highly specialized clinical care to vulnerable patients
  • Work closely with the Mental Health Multidisciplinary team
  • Join specialist CE groups and contribute to service improvement and development

Requirements:

  • BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics
  • HCPC registration
  • Driver's license
  • Experience in delivering highly specialized clinical care to vulnerable patients

Working Arrangements:

The post is part-time, 21.8 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 3 days over 7. The salary is pro rata for part-time hours.
