This part-time role involves working as a clinical nutrition specialist for mental health, assessing and developing complex nutritional care plans for patients with mental health conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with the mental health multidisciplinary team to deliver highly specialized clinical care to vulnerable patients.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics, HCPC registration, and a driver's license. They will be enthusiastic and motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The role involves working in a variety of settings, including clinics, domiciliary, and in-patient care at Dykebar Hospital. The post holder will have the opportunity to join specialist CE groups and work with the wider network of mental health and community dietitians within our service, contributing to service improvement and development.

As part of our commitment to reducing our full-time working week, we are introducing a new working pattern of 37 hours per week. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
