Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize telephone communications, scheduling, and email correspondence for the senior therapy leadership team.
  • Facilitate and support meetings.
  • Assist in project work through information collection, organization, and dissemination.
  • Provide confidential, comprehensive, and reliable administrative support to the MSK AHP Leadership Team.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships within and outside the department, coordinating projects and departmental systems while monitoring performance and progress.
  • Collaborate as part of a team and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of MSK AHP Clinical Services.

Work Schedule:

3 or 4 weekdays (negotiable but must include Monday)

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Business & Administration or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • OCR Stage III Word Processing or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Educated to GCSE standard, including English language at Level 4 or above.
  • ECDL or evidence of short courses in all core Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Business & Administration.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in an Executive Support role, encompassing a full range of core administrative duties, including diary management and minute-taking.
  • Comprehensive experience in administrative functions, including evaluating and enhancing existing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in project monitoring and progress reporting.
  • Experience in database and spreadsheet management.
  • Proficient in document management, formatting, and presentation.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the NHS or Health & Social Care sectors.
  • Familiarity with the DATIX system.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development through personal development plans or files.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient in navigating various NHS systems acquired through training and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of managing highly confidential and sensitive information.
