Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Employability Specialist Advisor to join our team. As an Employability Specialist Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with complex barriers to employment, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to secure and sustain employment.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including local authorities, job centers, and voluntary sector organizations, to drive referrals to the program.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and coordinated approach to supporting participants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, identifying job opportunities and providing support to participants throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct regular case conferences with partner organizations to ensure that participants receive the best possible support.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including participant details and progress.
Requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external partners.
  • Strong administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel across the specified areas, with a valid driver's license (if required).
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex barriers to employment, including those with physical or mental health conditions, criminal records, or other challenges.
