Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our team in Bristol. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated book of clients, managing renewals, invoicing, and collecting client payments, producing new quotes, upselling/cross-selling additional products, and handling client queries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
  • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives.
  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and producers to provide best-in-class service and drive growth.
  • Perform critical client functions, including evaluating risks, reviewing loss experience, cash flow, and financials, developing solutions, articulating impact of options, leveraging prepared analytics, and making recommendations to clients across product lines.
  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and understand and comply with all compliance, professional, and transparency standards to better serve clients.

Requirements

  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products is essential.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, administration, and organizational skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
