Insurance Account Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Account Handler to join our team at Howden. As an Insurance Account Handler, you will play a critical role in handling assigned projects and providing support to other projects as required.
Key Responsibilities- Collate and communicate client requirements to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk
- Be aware of, and satisfy, territory, tax and legislation requirements
- Produce high-quality and compliant market documentation, ensuring appropriate authorisations are secured
- Take ownership for data entry, credit control and chasing subjectivities where required
- Process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support and improve high levels of client service/internal process execution and to facilitate informed analysis
- Maintain appropriate client files, and oversee the prompt and accurate production of documentation to best meet client, company and regulatory requirements
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and obtain necessary authorisations at appropriate points in the process
- Remain aware of external, industry, legal and regulatory developments, and keep informed of all legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Operating Entity/Group
- Understand general and legal principles of insurance
- Understand the relevant regulatory and legal frameworks
- Relevant experience in an account handling or technical role is desirable
- Able to positively react to change
- Is a great teammate, networks and able to build balanced relationships
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
