Job Summary:
Insight Select is seeking a highly skilled Buying Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and category management of our home furnishings products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Sourcing: Lead the sourcing of new and existing products to ensure our ranges are in line with market trends and customer expectations.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for Insight Select.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging products to ensure our product ranges remain competitive.
- Profitability: Ensure profitability is maintained and remain competitive in the market.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with wider teams, including sales and marketing, to drive and increase sales.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in a similar role as a Purchasing Manager.
- Previous experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Strong and confident communicator.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in an independent way.
- Knowledge of flooring products such as LVT, laminate, solid wood flooring, etc.
Package:
- £55,000 - £60,000 base salary.
- Fully office-based at two London office locations.
- Excellent retail discounts.
- Birthday off.
