Corporate Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is working with a well-established and reputable firm of chartered accountants in the South East region. Our client is a leading Top 15 firm of chartered accountants that provides a wide range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio. This includes sole traders, limited liability partnerships, and limited companies, as well as national and international groups. As a business, they have a strong focus on strengthening their corporate tax presence and are seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Professional to join their successful team.
As a Senior Corporate Tax Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with local partners to deliver a range of tax services.
- Providing tax advice to a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed companies, quoted groups, local and national charities.
- Being involved in compliance and advisory work, as well as business development initiatives, working with the team to generate new business opportunities.
- Delivering general corporate tax consultancy, which may include:
- Group reorganizations, advice on structuring acquisitions, due diligence work, and SPA reviews.
- Corporate debt, particularly in a group context.
- Research and Development tax relief, Patent Box, international tax advice, and capital allowances reviews.
Requirements
- You will be ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified and have developed your career to Senior Manager levels with a corporate tax-focused background, having worked in a mix of in-house and accountancy practice firm environments.
- You will bring a mix of compliance and planning skills and may have expertise in some areas of corporate tax advisory project work, looking to develop further in other areas.
- You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, developing your technical skills set within a supportive team and office culture.
