Corporate Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is working with a renowned firm of chartered accountants in the South East region. Our client is a leading firm of chartered accountants, providing a wide range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio. This includes sole traders, limited liability partnerships, and limited companies, as well as national and international groups. As a business, they have focused on strengthening their corporate tax presence and are now seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Professional to join their successful team.
As a Senior Corporate Tax Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with local partners to deliver a range of tax services.
- Working with a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed companies, quoted groups, local and national charities.
- Being involved in compliance and advisory work, as well as business development initiatives, working with the team to generate new business opportunities.
- Delivering general corporate tax consultancy, which may include:
- Group reorganizations.
- Advice on structuring acquisitions.
- Due diligence work and SPA reviews.
- Corporate debt, particularly in a group context.
- Research and Development tax relief / Patent Box.
- International tax advice (structuring / financing / transfer pricing).
- Capital allowances reviews.
Requirements
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CTA) with a career background in corporate tax, developed within a mix of in-house and/or accountancy practice firm environments.
- You will bring a mix of compliance and planning skills, with expertise in some areas of corporate tax advisory project work and a desire to develop further in other areas.
- You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, developing your technical skills within a supportive team and office culture.
Benefits
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000, dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
