Senior Project Assurance Engineer

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Assurance Engineer to join our Airborne Radar Quality Assurance Team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and completion of all allocated projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all aspects of Quality, ensuring the success and completion of all allocated projects.
  • Delivery of all assurance activities defined by the IPT, ensuring they are maintained as relevant in line with the changing project demands.
  • Be fully aware and engaged with the Operational and IPT risks and opportunities, supporting and driving progress.
  • Agree risk-based internal assessments with the IPT lead and deliver these to completion, including managing any findings to closure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or experience in Defence, Electronics, or similarly complex industries.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in applying Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, Validation, and First Article Inspection.
  • Logical thinker, capable of harvesting complex data into actions with practical solutions that support business goals.
