Senior Project Assurance Engineer

At Leonardo, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Assurance Engineer to join our Airborne Radar Quality Assurance Team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Operations, Project Managers, Customers, Design/Development teams, and Purchasing/Suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all aspects of Quality, ensuring the success and completion of allocated projects.
  • Deliver assurance activities defined by the IPT, maintaining relevance in line with changing project demands.
  • Engage with Operational and IPT risks and opportunities, supporting and driving progress where necessary.
  • Agree risk-based internal assessments with the IPT lead and deliver these to completion, managing findings to closure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Defence, Electronics, or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of Quality Tools, including Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, Validation, and First Article Inspection.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions that support business goals.
