CRM Solutions Architect - Permanent - Flexible Working - (£85-100k + Benefits)

TEKsystems is actively seeking a CRM Solutions Architect to join a prominent Global Services client as part of a significant digital transformation initiative.

Role Summary:

Our esteemed client, a leader in the market, is in search of a Solutions Architect specializing in CRM and Customer Portal systems.

The CRM Solutions Architect will be tasked with overseeing the successful, consistent, and repeatable deployment of solutions that align with the needs of business stakeholders.

This role involves managing the solution architecture lifecycle, collaborating closely with Business, Enterprise, and Business architecture, as well as product management and analysis during the initial phases of the process.

Key responsibilities include standardizing Solution Architecture deliverables and actively participating in the Innovation & Technology Solution Design Review to provide design guidance, timely value-adding reviews, and governance focused on progress (ensuring tactical technical debt is identified and addressed in any business case).

Additionally, the architect will help define solution and enterprise architecture principles, policies, standards, and patterns, ensuring that technology solutions adhere to established standards or that exceptions are justified when risk tolerance permits.

As an advocate for Innovation & Technology, the architect will engage with business partners to comprehend business requirements and articulate solution designs that fulfill those needs while adhering to the Enterprise Architecture.

Collaboration with colleagues will be essential to maintain comprehensive views of Architecture for Enterprise planning and discovery.

Translating Enterprise Architecture outputs such as Architecture Vision and Business Requirements into detailed High-Level and Low-Level solution designs will also be a key aspect of this role.

The architect will manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking ownership of the delivery of individual solution architecture projects.

Effective prioritization of workload and deliverables will be crucial, ensuring outputs are produced at the appropriate level and timing.

Engagement with selected partners during the design and implementation of business technology solutions will also be required.

Core Responsibilities:

- Lead the architecture delivery for multiple concurrent business projects related to SAP/ERP.

- Contribute to the standardization of the solution architecture capability, including documentation, principles, policies, standards, and methodologies.

- Adapt to work within an agile environment, facilitating iterative architectural changes.

- Make informed decisions regarding the architectural patterns best suited for various projects.

- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and other Group functions to promote architecture reuse and best practices.

- Guide and support fellow architects during periods of significant transformation.

- Maintain clear communication within the team and with stakeholders.

- Document and secure stakeholder agreement on decisions, including buy vs. build considerations and early-phase project estimates that contribute to business cases.

- Raise architecture design issues with stakeholders concerning potential alternative solutions.

- Innovate by identifying technology opportunities that address business challenges and initiate proof of concept activities to assess fit.

- Stay informed about best practices and emerging opportunities that could positively influence the business, such as advancements in AI.

- Identify and cultivate partnerships and collaborative opportunities with internal teams, suppliers, stakeholders, and public/private sector organizations to enhance Solution Architecture and maximize value delivery.
