Job Summary

The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Recovery Support Workers to join our orthopaedic team at the Essex and Suffolk Elective Orthopaedic Centre at Colchester Hospital. This state-of-the-art centre will be one of the largest of its kind in Europe, delivering high-volume and low-complexity cases locally for the people we serve across our region.

Main Duties
  • Contribute to supporting nursing staff in the care of patients under the direction of registered members of the clinical team.
  • Provide support and assistance within the Recovery teams.
  • Assist in supplying and maintaining materials and equipment.
  • Undertake direct patient care.

Person Specification
  • Relevant work or life experience with evidence of significance to post.
  • GCSE's A-C in Maths and English.
  • Evidence of ability to learn.
