Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated nurse to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department as an Interventional Radiology Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Duties

We are seeking a nurse with broad experience in a hospital environment, who can demonstrate a high level of clinical skill and a commitment to patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and quality care to patients undergoing interventional procedures, and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our services
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge in interventional radiology nursing
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members
Person Specification

We are looking for a nurse with:

1st level registration as a Registered NursePreparing Facilitator of Practice Based Learning and Assessment or ENB 998 equivalentBLS/ILSExperience in cardiac nursing/CCU/ITU/A&EAbility to work as part of a multi-professional teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and manage workload effectivelyWorking for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust
