Compliance Manager Job Description

Clearwater People Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring day-to-day regulatory compliance across all company activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the Compliance Framework within the Risk Management and Governance Framework.
  • Review and align Key Risk Indicators with the company's risk appetite.
  • Develop and update compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with the FCA and ICO alongside the Chief Risk Officer.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory requirements and developments.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and communicate their impact to management.
  • Manage the company's Senior Management and Certification Regime (SMCR).
  • Oversee compliance with government requirements, especially related to the management of public money.
  • Advise on Privacy and Data Protection Risks, considering ICO/GDPR requirements.
  • Oversee breaches of compliance limits, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation.
  • Support the Risk System project, capturing and updating regulatory risks and responses.
Requirements:
  • Over 5 years of regulatory compliance management experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and risk management.
  • Familiarity with FCA and ICO regulations.
  • Experience in managing Senior Management and Certification Regime (SMCR).
