We are seeking a skilled Technical Officer to join our Commercial Services Team within the Regulatory Services & Health Department at Cheshire East Council.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring caravan sites operate in compliance with site licence conditions, undertaking site inspections, drafting site licences, and providing support and advice to individuals and the local business community.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with site licence conditions
- Draft site licences and respond to complaints and planning applications
- Work closely with the Gypsy Traveller Liaison Team to provide support and advice
- Take appropriate enforcement action where necessary
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a busy team and adapt to changing priorities
