In this dynamic role at TSG UK Solutions Ltd, you will be instrumental in fulfilling business needs by meticulously diagnosing and restoring electronic devices to ensure we consistently achieve customer service level agreements (SLAs). This position demands a solid understanding of electronics, meticulous attention to detail, and a willingness to acquire new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing items classified as repairable, which may include control boards for dispensers, desktop computer motherboards, payment terminals, and tools utilized by field technicians.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure that project timelines and SLAs are met, with the lab playing a vital role in maintaining stock availability.
- Utilizing our inventory management system to maintain optimal stock levels for repairable items.
- Ensuring a clean and safe laboratory environment.
- Managing warehouse and inventory control tasks.
- Identifying trends in breakdowns and, where applicable, implementing processes to assist field engineers in resolving issues.
- Monitoring no fault found repairs and generating reports that can be utilized by field teams for re-education and skill enhancement.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in fault diagnosis at the component level.
- Relevant electronics qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in computer hardware and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to personal development opportunities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
Desirable Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in loading firmware, software, and operating systems onto hard drives, SSDs, and integrated circuit chips.
