Job Title: Trainee Electronic Lab Technician

At TSG UK Solutions Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Electronic Lab Technician to join our team. As a Trainee Electronic Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our lab operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault finding and repair of items deemed repairable by the business, including dispenser control boards, desktop computer motherboards, payment terminals, and tools for field technicians.
  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure project deadlines and SLAs are met, with a focus on stock availability.
  • Utilization of our stock management system to maintain optimal stock levels on repairable items.
  • Maintenance of a tidy and safe lab environment.
  • Warehouse and stock control responsibilities.
  • Identification of breakdown trends and implementation of processes to enable field engineers to resolve issues.
  • Tracking of no Fault Found repairs and creation of reports to educate and upskill field team members.
Requirements:
  • Experience in fault finding to component level.
  • Electronics qualification or relevant experience.
  • Computer hardware and software skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pursue self-development opportunities.
  • Capacity to work well under pressure and prioritize workload.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications.
  • Experience in loading firmware, software, and operating systems to hard drives, SSDs, and integrated circuit chips.
