Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high standard of care and support to young people, promoting their emotional wellbeing and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all service users.
  • Support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations, and help them to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of each young person are met.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our services.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Current DBS on the Update Service
  • 1 year plus experience within Social Care
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathetic and non-judgemental approach, with a calm and patient demeanor
  • Dedicated and committed, with a can-do attitude
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People (desirable but not essential)
