About the Company
Our client is a leading company in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of crude oil and natural gas. The company operates through three main segments: Upstream, Downstream, and Corporate. The Upstream segment focuses on crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids exploration, field development, and production. The Downstream segment involves refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products to international and domestic customers. The Corporate segment provides supporting services, including human resources, finance, and information technology.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to join the West Hub Division of the LTC Business & Project Development Department. The division will be responsible for the activities of the West HUB Project Development under the Liquid to Chemicals Program (LTC) and drive the development of project assessment and the delivery of project requirements during FEL I, FEL II, and FEL III. Additionally, the function will be responsible for leading the formation and activities of the Integrated Project Team (ITP) and the formation of project steering committees to drive major project decisions.
Responsibilities
- Strong experience in chemicals and steam cracker operations.
- Background in refinery and chemicals integration.
- Demonstrated understanding of process yields, qualities, economics, and capital efficiency.
- Strong experience in capital project development for chemicals plants, particularly in PreFEED/FEED stages.
- Understanding of execution and commercial aspects in the industry.
Requirements
- This role requires a candidate to relocate permanently to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Refining & Chemicals business and their integration.
- Previous experience in Project Engineering, Design, and Execution for chemicals plants.
