- Upstream: Includes crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids exploration, field development, and production.
- Downstream: Focuses on refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products and related services to international and domestic customers.
- Corporate: Offers supporting services including human resources, finance, and information technology.
The company was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will participate in the review of new facilities' designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards regarding corrosion and materials selection. They will also review mothballing and preservation procedures for facilities to ensure compliance with relevant provisions.
- Conduct annual reviews of deadlegs within the Engineering and Wells Production Department as per the relevant standard.
- Communicate with upstream facilities regarding any out-of-spec streams.
- Review internal corrosion issues, evaluate chemical treatment alternatives, select appropriate chemical products, and specify dosages for each pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have a willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia. They will require a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent from a recognized and approved program. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required, with at least one year of experience in corrosion-related fields.
