Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Croydon. As a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to promote their well-being and create a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with SEND in a 1:1 or 2:1 setting
  • Assisting in the development of individualized education plans
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate with a 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a top UK university
  • Experience working with children or in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
