Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Great Addington CE Primary School. This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours per week, supporting a child in EYFS with individual SEND needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teacher in establishing an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum.
- Work creatively with the teacher to develop engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Provide individual support to the child with SEND, promoting their learning and well-being.
- Contribute to the overall learning environment, maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Enthusiastic and approachable, with a passion for supporting children's learning and well-being.
- Ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently, as part of a team.
- Commitment to supporting the ethos of a Church school.
- Understanding of the importance of Child Protection and commitment to safeguarding children's welfare.
