Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Trinity Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individual and groups of children in activities and deliver lessons to small groups and whole classes, covering PPA time.
  • Work effectively, flexibly, and independently to ensure all children feel safe, happy, and able to learn.
  • Deliver and evaluate lessons, giving feedback when needed, and use a range of behaviour management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Understand and implement the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary-aged children, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly, with experience in delivering cover for Class Teachers.
  • Understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary-aged children.
  • Able to deliver and evaluate lessons, giving feedback when needed.
  • Confident in using a range of behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently.
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
