About the Role

The University of London is seeking a highly skilled Donor Relations Officer to join our Development Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a best practice programme of stewardship, donor engagement, and recognition for our donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship programme to ensure sustainability and growth of our donor base.
  • Create a rewarding donor experience through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Manage donor communications, including regular updates and recognition of their contributions.
  • Organize high-level donor stewardship activities, such as events and meetings, to foster strong relationships with our donors.
  • Coordinate fundraising activities to support the mission and goals of the University.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of best practices in donor stewardship and fundraising.
