Job Title: Donor Engagement Executive

About the Role:

Merrifield Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Donor Engagement Executive to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mid-level donors and generating vital income for our client's services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a portfolio of mid-level donors, with a focus on generating income for our client's services.
  • Conduct prospect research to identify new donors and opportunities for growth.
  • Work with colleagues to gather information and create engaging content for donor communications, impact reports, and fundraising proposals.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop and implement a Regular Giving program.
  • Write and implement solicitation plans for mid-level prospects and donors.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of planning, meeting with, cultivating, and asking donors for gifts at the 4-figure level or above.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, data analysis, and using data to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Ability to organize meetings, site visits, presentations, and events to build donor engagement.
