Merrifield Consultants is partnering with a leading Health Charity to find an innovative and dedicated Donor Engagement Executive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors to generate vital income for the Health charity's services, salaries, and initiatives.
  • Lead prospect research for the Fundraising team, implementing a consistent approach to research and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gather patient case studies and service updates for engaging donor communications, impact reports, and fundraising proposals.
  • Work with marketing colleagues on the Health charity's Regular Giving programme, inputting key messages and donor communications.
  • Develop solicitation plans for mid-level prospects and donors, ensuring fundraising conversations move forward.
Requirements:
  • Track record of planning, meeting, cultivating, and asking donors for gifts at 4-figure level or above.
  • Skilled in stewarding donors effectively and creating engagement activities.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills, with a good grasp of compelling copy for different purposes and audiences.
  • Experience with CRM systems, data analysis, and organizing meetings, site visits, and events.
