Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at a long-term care facility in Claremont, NH. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver basic nursing and restorative care to residents, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Attend report prior to starting resident care and maintain open communication with licensed personnel.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as administer specified skin care treatments.
  • Provide assistance with ambulation, movement, and nutrition, ensuring resident safety and comfort.
  • React to emergency situations, such as fire drills, wandering residents, and falls, while maintaining a safe environment for staff and residents.
  • Obtain knowledge of Resident Care Plans to provide basic nursing care, comply with established nursing standards, and maintain resident confidentiality.
  • Identify and utilize infection control techniques, respect residents' spiritual beliefs, and encourage participation in care.
Requirements
  • 3 years of current experience in a long-term care setting, non-negotiable.
  • Willingness to float to any unit/floor as needed.
  • Previous travel experience and rural/small facility experience are highly preferred.

  • Work History.
  • Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year.
  • 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment).
  • License/Certifications (Current NH license and BLS) must be uploaded with profile.
  • Background Issues/Hits must be disclosed at time of profile upload.
Certification and License Requirements
  • BLS (AHA).
  • New Hampshire state license.

This assignment location is 2 hours from Boston, MA.

SULLIVAN COUNTY WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing, please include perm address at profile upload.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Traveler must be willing to work ALL holidays, including weekend before (if needed/scheduled). RTO requests for holidays will not be approved.
