Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at a Long Term Care facility in Claremont, NH.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Attend report sessions and maintain open communication with licensed personnel to ensure seamless care.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide support with ambulation, movement, and nutrition, ensuring resident safety and comfort.
- React to emergency situations, such as fire drills and resident falls, and maintain a safe environment for staff and residents.
- Comply with established nursing standards, policies, and procedures, while maintaining resident confidentiality and privacy.
- Identify and utilize infection control techniques, respect residents' spiritual beliefs, and encourage participation in care.
- 1 year of current experience in a Long Term Care setting.
- Must be willing to float and work varied shifts.
- Previous travel experience and rural/small facility experience are highly preferred.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- New Hampshire state license.
- Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday coverage.
- No on-call requirements.
