About the Role

Career Moves is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partner Manager to join our team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our Commerce Partnerships Team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and fostering innovation through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Opportunity Identification: Identify and translate market opportunities and challenges into a well-defined strategy aimed at accelerating the growth of our ecosystem in EMEA.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with partners at different stages of the partnership life cycle (emerging or established) to focus on their go-to-market plans.
  • Strategic Advisory: Be the strategic advisor to the partner's business growth to accelerate long-term revenue and future-proof the strategic direction of the partner.
  • Partner Ecosystem Mapping: Map the partner ecosystem to identify upcoming technological trends.
  • Developer Engagement: Prospect and consult with developers across EMEA to build an innovative partner ecosystem.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence partner product development efforts, including both shorter-term feature requests and long-term strategic roadmaps.
  • Strategic Initiative Planning: Plan and lead strategic initiatives in close partnership with cross-functional teams and drive execution.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the team in events and evangelize the program to the industry and developer partners.
  • Product Adoption and Education: Drive product adoption and provide ongoing education about new and existing marketing products, especially those that leverage APIs and other advanced technology.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership on the direction of commerce, specifically AI for commerce, and become a thought-leader and exhibit confidence in presenting the organization to C-suite executives.
Requirements
  • Client-Facing Experience: 8 years of client-facing experience in partner management, account management, or technical sales.
  • Relationship Building: Experience developing working relationships at all levels of management, internally and externally.
  • Project Management: Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills, including multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strategic Initiative Planning: Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives in close partnership with cross-functional teams and drive execution.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building strong functional relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, proactive expectations management.
  • Self-Starter: Self-starter, proven ability to shift priorities quickly and act proactively, while maintaining organization and focus on the key priorities.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience in using data to come up with executive summaries and business cases that drive decision-making and investments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commerce Platforms Experience: Experience with commerce platforms and/or marketplaces.
  • Advertising and Marketing Ecosystem: Experience in advertising and marketing developers ecosystem, including technology solutions.
  • Scaled Account Management: Experience in working in scaled account management or marketing programs.
  • Product Suite Knowledge: Knowledge of product suite, innovation, technology, and online marketing.
