Position Overview

Gentrian, a leading fintech solution provider in the aerospace and defense sector, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Risk Management. This role is pivotal in shaping our risk strategy and ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Lead the underwriting and risk operations team, ensuring effective workflows and processes.
  • Oversee daily operations related to account and project underwriting, credit decision-making, and compliance.
  • Enhance third-party data acquisition to support risk decision-making models.
  • Establish decision-making structures and criteria that balance risk and return effectively.
  • Identify emerging trends and risks in the marketplace, providing strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk analytics and management within financial institutions.
  • Expertise in developing underwriting standards and internal risk scoring systems.
  • Experience in formulating credit policies and algorithms, particularly in B2B financing.
  • A strong background in credit performance analysis, with insights gained through economic cycles.
  • Proven ability to manage credit facility negotiations at a detailed level.
  • A track record of innovative thinking that drives value generation.
Education

A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for a master’s degree in a quantitative field.
