About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Vice President to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our Risk Division, you will play a critical role in managing the firm's credit, market, liquidity, operational, and capital risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading desks, Controllers, Legal, Corporate Treasury, and Technology, to identify and address risk-related issues.
  • Provide expert analysis and guidance on regulatory capital requirements and capital management processes.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and other factors that may impact the firm's risk profile.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior managers, businesses, and risk departments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to excellence and customer service.
