Independent News Editor for Property EU

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled freelance journalist and/or news editor to contribute to Property EU, a prominent pan-European publication dedicated to real estate news, magazines, data, research, and events.

Your Responsibilities...

You will take the lead in news coverage, including editing responsibilities, to uncover and report exclusive news stories, produce insightful news analyses, and create in-depth journalism articles. As a freelance journalist and/or news editor, you will report directly to the editor-in-chief and collaborate with a team of seasoned freelancers.

  • Identifying and reporting on exclusive stories related to recent transactions or market insights in European real estate
  • Crafting a blend of news articles and analytical pieces focused on the European real estate sector
  • Assisting the team in the production of news and website content

Ideally, you will be based in London, utilizing our city office where you will collaborate with colleagues from Property EU and other brands within the broader FD Business organization, who will support your professional development and knowledge enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience...

We are seeking to hire an experienced freelance journalist and/or news editor to enhance our editorial team as we expand our operations.

  • Proven experience in real estate journalism and editing
  • Strong interest in pan-European real estate markets
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively
  • London base preferred but not mandatory
