Independent News Editor for European Real Estate

An exciting opportunity awaits an accomplished freelance journalist and/or news editor to contribute to Property EU, a prominent pan-European real estate publication dedicated to delivering comprehensive news, insightful magazines, valuable data, thorough research, and engaging events.

Your Responsibilities...

You will take the lead in news coverage (including editing), aiming to uncover and report exclusive news stories, generate news analyses, and craft in-depth journalism articles. As a freelance journalist and/or news editor, you will report directly to the editor-in-chief and collaborate with a skilled team of freelancers.

  • Identifying and reporting on exclusive stories related to the latest transactions or market insights within the European real estate sector
  • Producing a diverse range of news and analytical content focused on European real estate
  • Assisting the team in the production and delivery of news and online content

Ideally, you will be situated in London, utilizing our City office where you will collaborate with colleagues from Property EU and other brands within the broader FD Business organization, who will aid you in enhancing your skills and knowledge.

Required Knowledge and Experience...

We are seeking to recruit an experienced freelance journalist and/or news editor to join our editorial team as we expand our operations.

  • Proven experience in real estate journalism and editing
  • Demonstrated interest in pan-European real estate markets
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Preference for a London base, though not mandatory
